HIFU Treatment: What Is It?

Embracing your age is definitely beautiful. But when your skin starts to look older than you really are, you might not appreciate the process. With the advancement of cosmetic and medical procedures, one can think of too many options to fix ageing skin. Though invasive surgery is quite common, one might just not want to bear with those scars and the recovery period. If your busy schedule or fear of knives is troubling you, you can always choose to go through a safer, non-invasive procedure called HIFU.

High-intensity focused ultrasound is referred to as HIFU. It is also referred to as a non-surgical facelift or HIFU facial. Deeper skin layers are exposed to ultrasonic waves during the procedure, which encourages the formation of connective tissue. HIFU stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin by using ultrasonic waves. The connective tissues of the body are made of collagen and elastin. This means that they hold the skin together and function like cement if your skin were a brick edifice. Age-related skin sagging is caused by the loss of connective tissue. The tightening of the surrounding structures and lifting of the sagging skin are both aided by connective tissue regeneration. This causes the remarkable difference that can be seen even after only one session.

How can HIFU therapy help?

HIFU stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin by using ultrasonic waves. Three to four weeks after your session, the effects of HIFU start to become apparent, and they continue to get better for three months. Sagging skin will likely tighten as a result.

How does HIFU feel on the body?

Your doctor might advise taking acetaminophen or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID), such as ibuprofen, before treatment if you’re concerned about pain. You can have slight redness or swelling right after the procedure, but these side effects should go away over the course of the following few hours.

What to expect:
The target area is initially cleaned by a doctor or technician.

A topical anesthetic lotion might be applied.

An ultrasonic gel is then applied by the doctor or technician.

The gadget is set properly to start the procedure.

Short pulses of ultrasound radiation are then applied for 30 to 90 minutes to the desired location.
The gadget is taken out.

You can experience heat and tingling when the ultrasound energy is administered. After the treatment, you are immediately free to return home and go on with your regular daily activities. A safe, efficient, and non-invasive method of tightening the skin on the face is HIFU.

It’s difficult to argue against its benefits over a surgical face lift. There are no scars, incisions, or healing periods that must be observed. Additionally, hifu price (hifu ราคา, term in Thai) is much less expensive than a facelift. HIFU is a great alternative to a surgical face lift if you’re seeking a quick, painless, and noninvasive procedure. Naturally, HIFU is not a panacea for ageing. You might need to have the surgery repeated in one to two years as the natural ageing process takes control. The procedure is best suited for people with mild-to-moderate skin laxity.
